PhilotimoNOW’s Books & Benches Literary Garden project in Diavolitsi, Greece, will be designed by acclaimed Greek landscape architect and designer Marios Grogkos, founder of GREENPLUS+. Known for his sustainable, Mediterranean-inspired designs, Grogkos brings expertise in ecological landscaping, native plant integration, and award-winning outdoor environments.
PhilotiimoNOW’s mission is to combat Greece’s brain drain by fostering thriving global connections, strong communities, and educational opportunities. Greece continues to navigate brain drain as skilled young professionals seek opportunities abroad. While some talent is returning, economic and career barriers remain.
To celebrate the culmination of PhilotimoNOW’s Books & Benches Project, we are thrilled to announce our first-ever PhilotimoNOW Donor Trip, June 17–21. Donors will participate in the sacred blessing of the Literacy Garden, officiated by Father Costas of St. Panteleimon.
